We have only 72 days till the wedding. Wow. Crazy!
On Tuesday we decided that since we have under 100 days till the most important day of our lives thus far, we need to kick it into high gear and get healthy. We decided to get back to eating veggies, lean meats and low fat cheeses. No carbs if we can help it, though we know there will be exceptions, such as brown rices and brown rice pasta. We're going to try to steer clear of the white breads and flour based foods. Also we're cutting out processed sugar, unless it comes from fruit naturally, we're avoiding it. We also have made a pact to exercise together at least 5 days a week. We have two days under our belts so far. Woohoo! Tuesday we went up to the cathedral hills and did trails for about 90 min, and then came home to zuccini, pork, and a big salad. Wednesday we started out at the house and there is a paved trail about a 1/4 mile from the house and its probably 2 or 3 miles long, so we jogged/walked/did lunges to the end and then looped back down cloverlawn to the house. Overall about 4 miles. :)
Today I think I might be going on a walk alone or we are going to have to change it up, since J has to go to the bank after work and then we're supposed to go to a friends house for dinner. We'll see, we will make this work. :)
I am excited about this new life style, its going to make us healthy and in better shape then we are right now, and I think its a great start for the rest of our lives. I know we have kids on the horizon and I know that I want to be in better shape then I am right now and lose some weight before I go through that ordeal. Haha.
But for now, lets just lose some weight and exercise, get my BP down and get back into my normal pant size :) I would love that :)
